Martin Luther King was 5'6"
Height is irrelevant. Don't let anyone tell you that it matters. MLK didn't give it a second thought. Neither should you.

Being Short = Less Cancer.
Cancer is the worst. And short people get it less.
In fact overall, short people far outlive taller people. This translates into a more robust life. You don't have to worry about cancer and cardiovascular disease and all the demons out there that start hitting people in their 40s 50s and 60s.

Advice for Short Men: More Haircuts
Want to look better--Here's some great advice – – get your haircut more often. If you have longer hair that gets a little unruly – – your height could accentuate your supposed lack of style and control.
– – If your haircut looks really great when it's cut -- instead of going to the barber every four or five weeks go every three weeks.
– – It will give you a sharp, cut look that makes you seem like you're large and in charge all the time. Women appreciate a guy who doesn't look shlumpy and unkempt.

– – I noticed that about 15 years ago I had gotten kind of sloppy with my haircuts. I almost grimace now when I look at photographs of myself from that time. I waited too long in between cuts and often forgot to schedule them. I looked goofy. And yes, it didn't combine well with my height. Sloppiness some how looks worse on short guys.
-- ever since I started getting my haircut more often, I've noticed I get more compliments on my appearance. One friend even said I looked taller. So give it a try!
Make sure you schedule your next haircut at the Barbers. I schedule them 3-4 at a time. It's easy!

Short Men Have Better, Longer Marriages
If you are a woman who'd like to avoid an expensive, nasty, ugly divorce -- you should strongly consider dating a nice short guy.
The fact is that short guys rock when it comes to marriage.
I believe that the reason is a combination of critical factors but one is often overlooked. Short guys tend to wind up with women who value substance. I've seen this many times in various couples we know.
In my experience, superficial women who are obsessed with height tend to respond to physical attributes more than value driven ones. It's easy to see them growing dissatisfied with a mate who pccks on a few pounds, goes bald, or loses that Alpha Male luster in some other way.
Remember, Women initiate a much higher percentage of divorces than men...so the result may be that they dump their tall hubbies faster.
I also agree that short guys probably get hit on a bit less by superficial women and thankfully avoid seedy affairs at a higher rate.
It's a classic case of a negative turning into a big positive. Lower divorce means a partner for life and the avoidance of having to lose half of everything you earn.
Sure there are downsides to being short but when it comes to your most important, critical relationship-- your marriage-- short guys come up BIG!

Presidential Height Madness
So what happened here? The media is spinning the story to make it sound like the taller candidate ALWAYS wins....Bullshit! Clearly, being short doesn't preclude anyone from being the leader of the free world, making big bucks, or finding a killer girlfriend/spouse.
While it's probably true that taller candidates win a bit more, it is absolutely one of the MOST misleading examples one could give. Do not let this depress you unless the only job you seek is POTUS. Here is some good data. .https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heights_of_presidents_and_presidential_candidates_of_the_United_States
Here is my take: I think it's fair to say that the race for president involves one of the most scrutinized and highly visible competitions that exists on planet earth.
Not only must candidates be experienced, good looking, they must also be smart, in shape, great communicators, amazing networkers, and extremely charismatic on TV. They usually have great hair – – and lots of funding and often they have been born into great wealth or a political dynasty like George Bush. I guess you could say – – that Mitt Romney looks like a president yet he was beaten by someone who actually didn't look like any president that had come before – – Barack Obama. So F looks! And James Madison was 5'4" tall when he became president of United States of America.
The fact is that many, many characteristics add up to whether or not someone gets elected. But the only research I seem to see is research that relates to height. It's crazy!
What about the real world? The average job is a lot less demanding in terms of stature and looks. Employers are DYING to find competent people. So height matters LESS. If a person displays great performance characteristics they can do well and rise to the top. As Woody Allen one said – – the competition isn't so great – just showing up is 80% of success. That has nothing to do with height.
While height is helpful to the tune of about $1000 per year per inch in terms of earnings – – performance is far more helpful. If you know your job – – if you're in amazing engineer – – a brilliant leader – A more talented architect – – you can make 10,000 20,000 or 100,000 more dollars per year then taller colleagues. I know that's true because I'm in the top 1% of all income earners – – a self-made man – – and I'm 5 foot seven. I also rose rapidly in the corporate world earlier in my life.
What's more – – height is becoming less and less of a factor in a more and more virtual work world. A nice aspect of this is that our brains and not our physical stature is what should determine our income and promotions – – and increasingly it does!
So don't let presidential height comparisons get you down. It's an extreme job with insane scrutiny. It means almost nothing in the real world – – the key is to remain confident – – remind yourself – – many times the shorter candidate wins – – and in the real world it's very easy to overcome an inch or ten of height with a can do attitude and strong job performance.

Short Guys Have More Sex!
Research proves that short men have more sex over the course of their lifetimes. This exciting news should make you smile!
While some silly people try to explain this fact as being driven by insecurity-- that theory seems ridiculous to me.
The real reasons are attitude and health. Shorter men do have to work a bit harder to win the girl and promotion. We've all known the tall, arrogant jock, bad boy who naturally attracts the ladies.
Over time, I became better at tuning in to my girlfriends and spouse. I've met so many high school studs who did poorly when they hit the real world. Shorter men get used to trying harder. They build a can do attitude that allows them to excel. They listen and score. My point is that being pushed to try harder results in many kinds of successful behaviors including a higher frequency of sexual activity.
The second reason is that short men have better cardio genetics. Research shows that this leads to better sex and less erectile dysfunction as we age. And, if you can't get it up...it's understandable that sex may take a back seat to other activities.
My point is that short men are often perceived as being less successful in bed and as it turns out-- that's a complete myth! This article covers the research.
